Matthew T. Montoya

Matthew T. Montoya is an Associate who represents individuals, business owners, and property owners in civil defense matters. Prior to joining the Bledsoe firm, Mr. Montoya litigated on behalf of public entities throughout California in a wide variety of matters including, but not limited to, employment law, dangerous condition of public property, personal injury, and civil rights claims. His legal experience also consists of maritime defense, subrogation and recovery, and defense of workers’ compensation claims under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act and Defense Base Act. While in law school, Matthew clerked at the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office where he assisted in representing individuals throughout various stages of the criminal justice system.

Mr. Montoya is licensed to practice in both California and Louisiana.
