Melissa Wood

Melissa Wood is an Attorney with Bledsoe Diestel Treppa & Crane LLP. She has practiced law exclusively in Northern California for more than 20 years. During that time, Ms. Wood has practiced in the areas of general liability, premises liability, landlord/tenant, products liability, personal injury and wrongful death (including food borne illness), catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, habitability, ADA access, construction injury and defect litigation.

Ms. Wood has obtained successful results for her clients in all aspects of civil litigation including mediations, arbitrations, summary judgment motions and trials. Her representative clients have included individuals, corporations, large and small business owners, hotels, restaurants and nightclubs, shopping centers, security companies, taxi companies, rideshare drivers, developers, contractors, residential and commercial property owners and landlords, and property management companies.

After obtaining her B.A. from the University of San Francisco, Ms. Wood attended Golden Gate University School of Law, where she was a Merit Scholarship recipient and a member of the Dean’s List. While in law school, Ms. Wood was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable C. Clifton Young (Ret.), of the Nevada Supreme Court.
